I purchased this heater from Lowes to heat my garage since I use it as a gym to work out and train clients. After using countless amount of space heaters (that didn't work) to heat my garage in the winter I'd almost given up. I researched kerosene vs propane heaters (I'm afraid of propane :-/) and decided to try this heater since it had such good reviews on the Lowes website.
Let me say that I just purchased this heater a couple days ago and I couldn't be more satisfied (so far). After nervously reading the instructions 25 times to make sure I didn't blow my house up (over exaggeration) I hooked the heater up and placed it in my garage. The temperature in my garage was about 40 degrees and in less than 30 minutes I had to turn the heater off because I started sweating as soon as I walked into the garage. Okay I'm exaggerating again but my garage was heated enough to where I had to turn the heater off before I started working out. The set up for the heater was very simple. Just plug in both ends of the hose to the heater and the propane tank, turn it on and wait for the heat.
Needless to say I highly recommend this heater especially for heating up non living spaces such as a garage. By the way I have a fairly large 2 car garage. I will be purchasing an oxygen/CO detector to make sure the air in the garage is safe.

Have this to heat up porch that I enclose every winter in heavy plastic and for emergency house heat in case of power outage to run off one of my 3 generators. Instant heat have had myne for 2 years has never let us down.. I do have detectors to monitor oxygen levels that is a must !! So many power outrages thease days I got tired of no power heat water etc that iI made the choice to do something about it I now have 2 portable generators 1000 watt and a 3500 watt also a generac propane run 8k wired directly to our home . Along with this heater and another gas heater in home . I feel now that in an emergen I have what I need to keep our home running and my family safe! ITS JUST A WISE INVESTMENT! Last year lost power for 3 days we was the only house on our road that was not in the dark and warm people were driveing by wondering why our house was lit up . A GOOD FEELING BEYING PREPARED!!! Amazon has everything i have talked about from gas heaters to generators at great prices there is no excuse thease days to be left cold or in the dark ! But please never use portable generators in an inclosed space prepare a spot outside but must be kept dry and have fresh air and have battery operated CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS!!
Keep your family safe ! But yes it is a GOOD FEELING knowing you are prepared for bad weather when ever it may hit your area..... Be safe.....
